The political climate in Kenya has been heating up recently, particularly after opposition leader Raila Odinga launched anti-Ruto protests across the country. In the latest development, National Revolutionary Movement leader Miguna has called on all members of parliament from the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party to resign.

Before returning to Kenya from Canada, the lawyer had created anticipation about his return being the catalyst for the liberation of the Luo community. Miguna had announced that he would lead a rebellion against Raila Odinga, who is considered the de facto leader of the Luo Nyanza region.

In recent times, the lawyer has been touring the area in the company of leaders allied to President William Ruto, including ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo and former Nairobi governor Evans Kidero. On Thursday, May 11, Miguna disclosed that they were exchanging ideas aimed at transforming and liberating Luo Nyanza.

Miguna argued that if the Azimio team's aim was to audit the results of the previous presidential election, it would be a waste of time and a misuse of public resources. This statement has elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans, with some supporting his call while others oppose it.

Miguna Miguna, a well-known lawyer turned politician, has been making headlines in Kenya for quite some time now due to his outspoken views and criticism of opposition leader Raila Amollo Odinga. However, it is now more important than ever for Kenyans to prioritize peace and unity in the country to prevent any potential incidents of violence during this critical time.
