President William Ruto has stated that he will be brutal in his fight against corruption in Kenya.

While Kenyans must receive value for every tax dollar paid, the President stated that no one found guilty of graft would be spared his wrath, not even his buddies.

"No one will steal or squander public funds." "I will confront them head on," he stated, adding that his deeds will speak louder than his words.

"I will take personal responsibility for accounting for the resources of the people of Kenya," he assured.

He made the statements on Friday during the burial of David Wawer Ng'ethe, the father of Dagoretti South Member of Parliament John Kiarie.

He hailed the former Kandara MP as a respected, thoughtful, and consummate leader with a strong sense of purpose.

"He was a gentleman and a visionary who dedicated his life to serving humanity," President Ruto said of his late brother.

The President told the country the economy would soon be back on track.

"We have a long-term plan that will stimulate inclusive and sustainable economic growth," he added, emphasizing that no area of Kenya will be left behind.

Cabinet Secretaries Njuguna Ndung'u (National Treasury), Alice Wahome (Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation), and Moses Kuria (Investments, Trade, and Industry) were present, as was Murang'a Governor Irungu Kang'ata, who was flanked by MPs and MCAs.

The leaders urged President Ruto to continue his anti-corruption campaign.

Individuals profiting from public resources, according to Governor Kang'ata, is wrong.

"This battle must extend to counties so that resources follow development rather than individuals," he stated.

Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungw'ah agreed, saying the President is serious about protecting public resources.

"Do not let anyone derail you. We must punish those who plunder public resources. "We will support you by providing meaningful oversight," declared the Majority Leader of the National Assembly.

President Ruto recently cracked the whip and suspended government employees at KEBS and KEMSA for alleged shady dealings.
