Raila Odinga, head of Azimio la Umoja, has warned Registrar of Political Parties Ann Nderitu harshly for failing to implement the leadership changes made in the Jubilee party.
The Azimio boss opposed the Nderitu's decision to uphold the expulsion of Jeremiah Kioni and David Murathe, claiming that the party had already made new leadership changes during a National Delegates Conference (NDC) on Monday.
While participating in a food distribution exercise for flood victims in Alego Usonga, he asked that the new changes be made public and that the Jeremiah Kioni-led side be recognized as the Jubilee party's leaders.
"We will not accept the government's interference in the affairs of parties in the Azimio coalition," he stated.

"We therefore urge the registrar to act quickly and register the new Jubilee Party officials, failing which there will be consequences."
Nderitu stated on Tuesday that Kioni and Murathe had been officially dismissed from the party, adding that the Kanini Kega-led team is the right team to lead activities at the party.
After the Kanini Kega-led Jubilee group ousted them last week, Kioni and Murathe wrote to the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP).
After Kega's team elected new party leadership, the deadlock in the erstwhile ruling party led by ex-President Uhuru Kenyatta escalated.
They chose MP Sabina Chege to lead the Jubilee Party instead of Kenyatta.
Kioni, Murathe, and treasurer Kagwe Gichochi were fired for egregious misconduct, failure to respect the party's organs, and failure to respect the party's headquarters.
Kioni's team has steadfastly believed that Kega's expulsion is illegal.
Eala MP Kanini Kega now claims that the National Delegation Committee meeting convened by former President Uhuru Kenyatta had no legal ramifications and belonged to another party.
"It is unfortunate that the former president (Uhuru Kenyatta) has chosen the wrong side of history by defying a legitimate decision of the party organs, and even more so that he ceased being Jubilee Party leader on March 14," Kanini Kega remarked.
