Sweden has officially declared sex as a sport and finalized arrangements to launch its maiden sex tournament on Thursday, June 8.

The contestants in the sex tournament will have daily sexual encounters lasting up to six hours.

According to Swedish local media, a panel of judges will select the winners of the sex competition, and the audience will also share opinions and analyses on the choices.

The European Sex Championship, which starts on June 8, will span six weeks, with contestants having sex every day for 45 to an hour, depending on how long their matches are.

According to the article, there are three levels to the competition, and in order to move on to the next one, a contender must get a specific minimum number of points at each one.

Each discipline offers the sex contestants the chance to gain between 5 and 10 points, which are determined by a combination of audience votes and a panel of five judges.

The audience will witness the sex competitions and will see different aspects of the sexual activity, the article claims.

The couple's compatibility, understanding of sex, level of endurance, and other essential sexual characteristics will all be taken into account when determining the winner.

The head of the Swedish Federation of Sex, Dragan Bratych, expressed his hope that one day people might consider sex to be a sport.

He emphasized the importance of education and the potential benefits of sexual engagement for one's physical and mental well-being.

“Like any sport, getting the results you want in sex requires training,” he stated. As a result, competition will inevitably start to develop in this area as well.

He emphasized the special features of this sport, in which the goal is to make the opponent ecstatic.

He noted that, unlike traditional sports where losing frequently causes sadness, the ability of the contestant to satisfy their partner defines their success in this game.
