Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has described the previous National Prayer Breakfast as a "toxic affair full of hatred."

During the ceremony at Safari Park, the Deputy President stated that President William Ruto, then Deputy President, was facing "prosecution" at the time. "He couldn't sit with his boss at the same table."

"The previous Prayer Breakfast here was a very toxic affair filled with hatred." We were persuaded that the lady who had removed the chair should be shown the door when we attempted to position people around the president. "However, as of today, she is still working," Gachagua stated.

"Many of those who witnessed his persecution expected him to go hammer and tongs after his tormentors, but the Bible teaches us forgiveness."

Last year's event took place amid an agitated country in the run-up to the August elections.

Rigathi's wife, who was also present at the event, emphasized the need for forgiveness and unity. Dorcas rigathi said that kenyans needed to learn from the Babylonians and unite.

"There is nothing better than being united." According to Genesis 11:6, these people erected a tower, were united, talked in one language and accent, and caused God to come down from heaven. Nothing would be impossible if they did it for the right reasons."

"Let us learn to speak in one language, with one accent, and with one accord, so that the vulnerable in this country can begin to experience God's grace through us," she continued.

Regarding forgiveness, Rigathi stated that God will not forgive Kenyans unless they practice forgiveness among themselves.

"We want reconciliation because this country belongs to us, and our God has told us that if we don't forgive one another, the Father in heaven will not forgive us." "Let us practice forgiving one another," she remarked.
