After the Finance Bill 2023 was tabled, fierce debate erupted on the floor of the National Assembly on Wednesday.
With the contentious housing levy dominating the house floor, Members of Parliament from Kenya Kwanza backed President William Ruto's administration's bill. At the same time, their Azimio counterparts questioned the government's purpose.
After voting, 176 parliamentarians voted to have the Bill read a second time, while 81 of the House's 257 members rejected the measure. Here is how some of your favourite mps voted
