Mike Sonko, a former Nairobi Governor, has kept his pledge to give former boxer Conjestina Achieng responsibility for coastal security.
The former Nairobi boss said two days ago that Conjestina had won a lucrative position as the security chief at his Salama Bling Beach resort in Kanamai after successfully finishing her rehabilitation program.
The flashy politician updated the story with images of a polished Conjestina managing his facilities while holding up a briefcase and wearing an impeccable white suit.
Congestion is seen beaming as she exits the backseat of his official SUV, Land Cruiser and opens the door for her new boss in the collection of images and videos Sonko posted on Twitter.

A healthy-looking Conjestina seems to discharge her responsibilities efficiently as her employer customarily walks around, still holding onto the briefcase.
Conjestina is also seen closely trailing her employer, much like the president's aide de camp, in the classic Mike Sonko way.
Conjestina's new responsibilities were discussed by Mike Sonko, who also disclosed that he had changed his mind about initially considering Conjestina for the position of head of security at his renowned Coastal nightclub, Club Volume.
"My initial plan for Conje after healing was to employ her as the Head of security operations at the international Club Volume, but I changed my mind after thinking through what she has gone through before with respect to drug and substance abuse," he wrote.

"As Conje begins this new chapter of her life, she brings the aspirations and goals of aspiring young boxers. Her experience serves as a reminder that regardless of their present situation or history, everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves.
