Andrew Tate is also accused of raping one of the victims, while his brother Tristan is accused of inciting others to violence. The trial for the two brothers will not begin right away.

According to Romanian legislation, the case is sent to the preliminary chamber of the court, where a judge has 60 days to check the case files for validity.

The Tate brothers, former kickboxers with US and British citizenship and millions of internet followers, are the most high-profile accused to face human trafficking charges in Romania.

According to prosecutors, the Tate brothers recruited their victims by charming them and falsely professing interest in a relationship or marriage.
