As long as there is love between two people, Rev. Kathy Kiuna has urged women to be patient with their men and not reject them when they are not financially secure.

Using herself as an example, Rev. Kathy, a deacon at Jubilee Christian Church alongside her husband, Bishop Allan Kiuna, recalled their humble beginnings when the love of her life couldn't even afford to pay for their date.

Rev. Kathy recalled a time when her husband had asked her on their first coffee date, but she had to foot the bill because he was cash-strapped.

"He can buy me a store today. Don't turn down a man because he can't afford the dowry or only brings a few goats. In the past, Allan could only bring a few goats; now, he can bring numerous fat cows. You must defend your man, she replied.

One of the wealthiest preaching couples in the nation, the Kiunas are not afraid to display their affluence.

The couple is associated with 15 churches in Kenya, and there are rumours that they also own a private jet.
