Phelix Odiwour, popularly known as Jalang'o, a Lang'ata Member of Parliament, claims he has been demoted to an orphan or stranger in the ODM Party due to his strong working connection with President William Ruto.

As a devoted supporter of Raila Odinga's Orange Party, Jalang'o claims that he is currently barred from all ODM communication platforms, including WhatsApp groups, and is unaware of party developments.

In an interview with NTV, the Lang'ata MP revealed that he now obtains information about the party through hearsay.

"Sasa hivi nimetolewa za chama kwa communications zote." So, siwezi jua, hata kama kuna chochote chama inataka tu support. Labda upate kuskia kupitia pale bungeni... He said, "Ni wakati mgumu kwa maana upo tu kama yatima pale."

Nonetheless, the Lang'ata MP says he has no regrets and cannot abandon his collaboration with President Ruto, even though his acts amount to political suicide and will result in him becoming a one-term legislator.

"...ilipofika kotini na wale majaji wasaba wote wakasema rais ni William Ruto na baadaye nikaanza kuona maono yake na mambo ambayo anajaribu kufanya," Jalang'o added.

The MP also said that since his February 7th visit to State House with many other opposition-affiliated politicians, he had been denied access to or a personal meeting with ODM Party Raila Odinga, despite his insistence on how much he respects the opposition boss.

"...Mimi kijana ya baba." Ananipenda sana, Baba. Namheshimu na nampenda. As a result of the safari and the State House, hata kuja karibu nayeye imekuwa ngumu. What do you want from us, msaliti? "Hata security yangu tu, siezi songa karibu kwa sababu wengi wanaona kwamba umeharibu," revealed Jalang'o.

The MP insists that he is not a traitor and that even if he is not re-elected in 2027 due to his political activities, he will remain grateful that he got the chance to be a Member of Parliament.
