In response to the escalating conflict in Sudan, the British government has implemented sanctions against companies associated with the rival military factions.

Andrew Mitchell, a minister in the British government, stated that the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) had plunged their nation into a war that lacked any justification.

The sanctions impose an asset freeze on three businesses linked to each side in the fighting.

Sanctions were imposed by Washington in early June. The ongoing conflict in Sudan, which started three months ago, has resulted in a significant loss of life, with estimates suggesting that thousands of people have been killed.

Furthermore, the conflict has led to the displacement of millions, as they have been compelled to flee from their homes.
