ODM party claim that The bodyguard of Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga, Maurice Ogeta, has allegedly been kidnapped by unidentified individuals presumed to be police personnel.
On Wednesday, ODM's director of communications, Philip Etale, claimed that the assailants ambushed Ogeta on his way to work from home on Wednesday morning, who flagged him down and then put him in his car's boot.
According to Etale, the car stalled after a few minutes of driving, and the assailants had to drag Ogeta out of the boot to assist them in restarting it.

"After a few minutes of driving, the vehicle stalled, and they got him out of the boot to show them how to restart it before returning him to the boot and speeding off to an unknown destination," read the statement in part.
