Babu Owino was re-arrested outside Milimani Law Courts shortly after his release on bail. The police brought him back into arrest even after his family had paid the bail according to his auntie.

It was evident that none of the Azimio leaders appeared in court to stand with Babu Owino during his legal proceedings. Apart from his family, there was no presence of any Azimio leader showing support for him.

In his decision this morning, Milimani Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina emphasized that if the accused are found guilty of the accusation, they could face up to 7 years in prison.

Following his re-arrest, Babu Owino is anticipated to be brought to court on Monday, where he will face fresh charges. It appears that the government is persistently causing difficulties for Babu Owino, and the reasons behind this ongoing frustration remain unclear.
