Kenyatta joined his colleagues in placing flowers by the deceased's grave in their memory.

Following the interfaith prayers, the leaders gave to support the victims and their families, with Kenyatta and Odinga each giving Ksh. 1 million.

Wiper leaders Kalonzo Musyoka and Eugene Wamalawa each contributed Ksh. 500,000, while Azimio MPs combined to contribute Ksh. 1.5 million.

At the same time, hospital fees for maandamano victims would be waived by the governors of Kisii, Homa Bay, Kisumu, Machakos, and Siaya County.
