A supermarket in Austria has been closed down because of worries that male customers would get enduring erections if bitten by a unique spider found on the store's property.

The manager of the Penny Shop claims that workers inside the grocery store found the four-inch, highly deadly Brazilian Wandering Spider, which is known to travel to Europe by hiding in bundles of bananas.
The spider is still at large inside the supermarket, an exterminator has since been called, and all banana crates in the store sealed and marked as 'Dangerous Unsold Stock.'

The shop will probably remain closed until next week, when it is anticipated that the arachnid will have been discovered and eliminated, according to the manager.

PS: The Brazilian Wandering Spider is featured in the Guinness Book of World Records as one of the planet's most venomous spiders, and its bites can be fatal after causing hypothermia, blurred vision, convulsions and, in some cases, severe 'unending' erections.
The spider's venom is even being studied for use in erectile dysfunction treatments after it was found that a bite from one of the spiders can give male victims a painful 4-hour erection!
