Winnie Odinga, an EALA member of parliament and the daughter of Azimio leader Raila Odinga, has stated that she has never experienced hunger in her life.
In an interview with blogger Vincent Mboya, Winnie expressed her gratitude to her parents, Raila and Ida Odinga, for providing her with an upbringing in which she was not allowed to suffer.
"I have never slept hungry, that is normal, I am not where I came from, I can say I was lucky enough and I want to thank God for that, for giving me parents who had and have the ability to raise us and meet my and my siblings' needs," Winnie said.
