In a joint operation, detectives from Migori, supported by specialized units of the DCI, conducted an early morning raid at a suspect's residence in Isibania, resulting in the recovery of a firearm and 58 rounds of ammunition. The confiscated items included a Czeska pistol equipped with two magazines, as well as a sharp dagger.

Detectives in Migori augmented by their counterparts from specialized units of the DCI have recovered a firearm and 58 rounds of ammunition in an early morning raid at a suspect's house in Isibania.

Despite an intensive search by the officers, the wanted suspect, Peter Matinde Wandwi, who is linked to a series of violent robberies, narrowly evaded capture. However, authorities are actively pursuing his apprehension.
Additionally, two individuals of interest were apprehended during the operation and are currently assisting detectives in ongoing investigations.
