First daughter Charlene Ruto, is brimming with joy after achieving a significant milestone in her life. Yesterday, she marked her graduation with a certificate in sign language, and her excitement knows no bounds. Charlene enthusiastically shared her achievements across her various social media platforms.
During her celebration, Charlene Ruto seized the moment to shed light on her passion for sign language, a fervor ignited by her encounter with Babelyne Mukila earlier this year. She recounted how their communication was entirely in Kenyan sign language, a profound experience that not only deepened her interest in sign language but also fostered a genuine connection with the deaf youth, their community, and their rich culture.
After 3 months of studying Kenyan Sign Language (popularly known as KSL) as a basic course, I finally graduated with my certificate!
