Chemutai Kipkorir, the neighbor to maxine wahome, and Asad Khan testified that the couple would fight from time to time and that the deceased had a bad temper.
Maxine wahome is accused of killing her boyfriend at their shared home by stabbing him in the thigh.
"From the time I moved in that house, the two used to fight ...sometimes in a month I would not hear anything, and sometimes I would hear it twice a week," a neighbor said.
Chemutai Kipkorir testified that she was in her house on December 12, 2023, when she heard noise from Asad's house.

She said that although she did not go out to check what was happening, she revealed that she heard a woman crying during the fight.
"When he was yelling I heard ..."Get out of my house" then I heard the lady crying ......I went to my living room and used my house intercom to call the guard," she testified.
“Thereafter the commotion stopped for about five minutes and then the commotion started again. I heard sounds of a struggle that's what I could hear,” she added.
According to the neighbor, she then called 911 and the Kileleshwa association chairman.
"I heard glasses breaking outside my dining room window...."I tried to call 911 and Kileleshwa because it was terrifying and I needed police help," Chemutai added, adding that she afterwards heard someone groan.
"I heard someone say Kalulu...Kalulu (Asad), what happened?"When I went to my balcony window, I saw neighbours and the chairman. As one of the neighbours arrived with a car, they carried him down and took him outside. All of this was visible from my balcony. "I could see he was covered in blood and that they were pressing one of his legs," she explained.
“I knew he had a violent temper. Before Maxine ...the ex girlfriend was also subjected to violence. There would be an argument but those ladies would leave,” she said.
Maxine Wahome is currently out on bail and has denied the murder allegations, claiming that Asad stabbed himself in the leg, leading to his death.
According to Maxine Wahome, the late Asad Khan aggressively woke her up in the morning and ordered her to leave his premises. Wahome claims that as the dead attempted to break down the door to reach her, she rushed to the balcony for shelter.
