On Sunday, The Weekly Review Newspaper reported that Kiharu Member of Parliament Hon Ndindi Nyoro is allegedly leading a covert opposition within the Kenya Kwanza Camp. This opposition is protesting against the content of the recently released NADCO Report, citing the omission of the Cost of Living as the primary reason for their non-support. In a 2021 Citizen TV debate, MP Ndindi Nyoro expressed his views.
As per the local publication, the coalition of MPs headed by Ndindi Nyoro has initiated a campaign opposing any moves to initiate a referendum that could potentially disrupt the country's economic recovery efforts. Additionally, the newspaper has found that there's a perception that the opposition is pursuing its political agenda without considering the well-being of the families and friends of those who lost their lives during the violent protests resulting in extensive property damage in June and July this year.
