The burial ceremony of Firirinda hitmaker Dickson Munyonyi  witnessed a significant amount of drama. Renowned United Democratic Alliance party politician, Honorable GG Kagombe, accused certain politicians of purportedly embezzling funds designated for hospitals. According to Kagombe's statements, an amount exceeding Ksh 1 Billion, intended for use by hospitals in Kiambu, remains unutilized.

'' People can't keep on buying drugs in other stores even though the government gave out over ksh 1 Billion to be used in these Hospitals. We are not going to argue about this, the money must be used as directed " UDA Politician, Honorable GG Kagombe.


As per the reports provided by Inooro Fm, Dickson Munyonyi, the esteemed Kikuyu benga star celebrated for his song 'Firirinda,' was laid to rest on Saturday in Gatundu South, Kiambu County.

Renowned Kikuyu Gospel musician Karangu wa Muraya expressed his condolences on various social media platforms in response to the passing of the artist. He thanked Dickson Munyonyi for his impactful songs and extended sympathies to the family and friends of the departed.

The late individual is reported to have succumbed to an illness after a prolonged battle that ultimately led to his demise.
