The Secretary-General of the Jubilee party has hinted at a concrete strategy to thwart any potential attempts by President William Ruto to gather a sizable majority of votes in the Mt. Kenya region in the 2027 general election.

According to Kioni, their agents duped the Jubilee party at the polling places, and the area was extensively used to rig the 2022 elections.

"Because it was a Jubilee government there was the thinking that civil servants would continue supporting the government or would have done what they had been requested to do that is to ensure that agents are within the party," he told Spice FM on Monday.

"Mt. Kenya was heavily used to rig the elections and one of the reasons is because we in Jubilee also relied on structures that did not belong to the party," Kioni further claimed.

According to Kioni's 2027 plan, he will assign volunteer agents to staff various polling places.

He claimed to have employed the same tactic in his successful 2007 campaign for the Ndaragua parliamentary seat.

"In 2027, that is how things will be on Mount Kenya. They won't steal those votes even if William (President Ruto) is Chebukati on Mount Kenya. Hawataiba "I swear to you.

Additionally, Kioni expressed confidence that Ruto would receive a different level of support from the Mount Kenya region, pointing out that they have lost faith in his ability to lead.

"Mt. Kenya is the ones who are going to eject the guy. The number of people who have decided that enough is enough has surpassed all expectations as of late last year."
