On December 30, Dennis Itumbi revealed that former President Uhuru Kenyatta called him two days after President William Ruto was sworn in.
"Former President Uhuru Kenyatta called me two days after Kenya Kwanza was sworn in. He wished us well. From where I sit he is still a friend," stated Dennis Itumbi.
Dennis Itumbi was among the top individuals who worked around the clock to ensure President William Ruto won the August 9 poll. He was part of President Ruto's digital team that led Kenya Kwanza's campaign online.
Despite being close to former President Uhuru Kenyatta, Itumbi made his democratic move to support the now-President Dr. William Samoei Ruto under the Kenya Kwanza team famously known as Hustler nation.
Dennis Itumbi went through a lot due to the direction he took which led to him being kidnapped and beaten badly where he neared death.
After treatment, Mr. Itumbi continued with his work to support Kenya Kwanza until their victory after the August polls.
