The Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is expected to address residents of Naivasha today on several issues, including the high cost of living.

In a press release dated February 18, the Wiper Democratic Movement announced that Kalonzo will be at the Institute of Certified Secretaries' chief guest and presenter of a keynote speech.

Later today, the Azimio principal is anticipated to interact with the public at Soko Mjinga market before traveling to Lake Naivasha Resort for Tuesday's main event.

The market is situated along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway on the route to Naivasha.

The high living expenses and the housing levy are two of the topics Kalonzo will discuss in his speech.

"Dr Musyoka is expected to address residents' concerns, including the high cost of living and the 'slush fund' that is the housing levy, among other concerns," the press release reads.

The High Court blocked the implementation of the housing levy, and the Court of Appeal upheld the High Court's ruling last month, creating a tense situation between the government and Kenyans.

Kalonzo has been invited to be the chief guest at the County Governments Convention's opening.
