Recent reports reveal a significant victory for the ODM party following a High Court decision.

According reports, ODM party successfully contested a legal dispute against Kenya Kwanza, led by Ruto, over a political parties fund amounting to Sh1.2 billion.

In his judgment, Justice Chacha Mwita emphasized that the arbitrary reduction of the political parties fund to Sh800 million was unlawful.

An insightful report states, "ODM emerges victorious in Sh1.2b case against Kenya Kwanza as Justice Chacha Mwita deems the allocation reduction to Sh800m illegal."

It is worth noting that ODM's Secretary-General, Edwin Sifuna, has consistently criticized President William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza government for allegedly harassing political parties.

Meanwhile, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has persistently defended his "one man one shilling" agenda against its critics.

In an address today, he urged leaders to avoid divisive politics, asserting that the Mount Kenya region remains unified in support of President William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza government.

Interestingly, allies of Gachagua from the Mount Kenya region are preparing to reject the Finance Bill 2024 as a signal to President William Ruto, accusing him of neglecting their representative.
