The political relationship between Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Coalition leader Raila Odinga and his co-principal, Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka, is reportedly deteriorating due to internal power struggles within the Azimio coalition.

According to a report in today's Taifa Leo Newspaper, tensions are escalating between ODM and Kalonzo Musyoka over Kalonzo's efforts to replace Raila Odinga as the leader of Azimio la Umoja. The Wiper leader claims that Azimio Chairman, former President Uhuru Kenyatta, has called for a meeting to discuss leadership changes within the coalition, following ODM's decision to align with the government.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has warned Kalonzo Musyoka sternly against any attempt to remove Raila Odinga from his leadership position within the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Coalition. The party has clarified that any effort to oust Raila will not succeed. Raila will continue to lead the opposition until he decides to retire and hand over the leadership to someone else on his own terms.
