Prominent Mt. Kenya lawyer Ndegwa Njiru has officially declared his intention to vie for a political seat in the 2027 general election. Njiru, known for his fearless approach to political discourse, has been a close ally of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Speaking during an interview on the Mzima Live Show, Njiru announced his readiness to contest for the Kirinyaga County Senatorial seat. He also voiced his concerns over President William Ruto’s leadership, expressing dissatisfaction with the current administration.
