The current Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Babu Owino, has come under fire from notable female lawmaker Justina Wamae today.
Justina Wamae responded to Babu Owino's assertions that energy would be free in Kenya on her official Twitter account.

Justina Wamae responded to Babu Owino's feelings by urging Babu to alter the motion in the National Assembly rather than just using words.
She thinks Kenya Power should withdraw the proposal for IPPs to receive less compensation than KenGen. She believes they use our geothermal, solar, and wind energy, which is why.
