She can be better described as a mama Simba of Meru. She has proved to be a woman who is not intimidated and never gives in to the woes of the MCAs. However, the governor apologized 70 times for the sake of reconciliation!
Kenyans however had things to say about her decision to apologize. Many think it was a wise decision while others think the other way.
It was a joy to the governor after weeks of pressure from the MCAS after the high court stopped the Meru County Assembly Members from debating the impeachment motion.
Justice Thripsisa Cherere ruled that the High court has jurisdiction to issue conservatory orders sought by the governor.
The motion filed by Meru County Minority whip Dennis Kiogora sought to have her ousted on grounds of gross misconduct, nepotism, and disrespecting the MCAs who are the direct representative of the people.
The tough-talking governor had said that she was not bothered by such a move and she will continue serving her people without intimidation.
On November 30th however, the governor was forced to eat a humble pie after she was forced to ask for forgiveness from the MCAs.
Mwangaza asked those who were present to help her beg the MCAs and they said sorry 70 times in reference to the 69 MCAs and the county speaker.
