Last year, Charlene Chelagat Ruto was a guest of honor during the launch of the Universities and colleges students peace Association of Kenya (UCSPAK) reports. The first daughter launched the 2022 UCSPAK report and thereafter handed over certificates of participation to universities that attended the two-day function.

Charlene noted that the government of her father is fully committed to supporting the youths.

She revealed that the Kenya  Kwanza government is very committed to mainstreaming programs that focus on Kenyan youths.

As a youth, Charlene committed herself and offered practical entrepreneurial examples in her life lessons to the attendees on being a go-getter and working hard to establish her enterprise.

National student Summit saw student leaders and leaders across various industries assemble to discuss matters ranging from climate change to poverty and economic mindset change as well as poverty reduction.

Since her father President William Ruto assumed office, Kenyans have been seeing more and more of Charlene Ruto, who is gracing the eye of the public in different development events.

Unlike her older brothers and sister, Charlene seems to thrive under the spotlight. Miss Ruto is very active on social media and most specifically Twitter where she expresses her opinions and agendas of her father's government, Kenya Kwanza.

Although Charlene does not have a specific official role, she is seen participating in different government events actively.

Many Kenyans are however concerned with knowing the exact role the second daughter of the president holds in an official capacity.
