The notice highlights that an Internal Dispute Resolution Committee has deemed the NDC Meeting, chaired by former President Uhuru Kenyatta, as null and void. Additionally, it references the decision made by the Registrar of Political Parties, Anne Nderitu, who determined that the aforementioned meeting did not adhere to the required procedural protocols.
"In light of the above, we wish to inform our members that the purported changes in leadership of our party at the said meeting are of no legal consequences," Jubilee Party wrote .
During the NDC Meeting, significant changes were proposed to the party leadership, including the deregistration of Sabina Chege, Kanini Kega, and other individuals. However, the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) declined to ratify these changes, thereby invalidating them.
