Pauline Njoroge, a political blogger, and digital strategist, voiced her criticism towards Jalang'o, an Azimio MP known for his opposition stance, after a video circulated on social media showing him paying for his constituents' matatu fare.

Njoroge pointed out that Jalang'o, who chose to align with President Ruto, was among the supporters of the finance bill. She highlighted that the consequences of this bill are currently impacting Kenyans, leading to a rise in the cost of living.

She has questioned how the MP will be able to sustain this kind of philanthropy to his constituents by paying their fare every day.

"You go to parliament and vote for fuel price to be increased to Ksh 195.53, therefore affecting fare price. Afterward, you go hopping from one matatu stage to another, paying fare for people. How long will you sustain this and in the entire Lang’ata constituency, how many people can you cater for every day? This is madness," Njoroge stated.

The Langata member of parliament Felix Oduor, also known as Jalang'o, was caught on camera walking along the side of the road and stopping at several matatu stages paying fare for his constituents heading to the Nairobi CBD.
