National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi has expressed his disappointment with President William Ruto for inviting the opposition leader Raila Odinga for talks through Twitter.
This follows the Head of State’s announcement on Twitter last evening that he is open to holding one-on-one talks with Raila after returning from Tanzania.
My friend @RailaOdinga ,am off to Tanzania for a human capital meeting to harmonise the expansion of employment opportunities in our continent. Am back tomorrow evening, and as you have always known, am available to meet one on one with you anytime at your convenience.

Wandayi says it was impolite for the president to invite the opposition leader through a social media statement.
"Ruto must respect Baba, inviting him via a tweet is disrespectful," said Wandayi speaking on Ramogi radio Wednesday morning.
The Azimio la Umoja alliance is ready to have discussions with the administration, according to the Ugunja MP.
Following the suspension of the three-day anti-government protests, Wandayi further revealed that Azimio would be offering condolences to the families of the protest dead from the previous week.
A reparations fund for victims of police violence would be established, he added, and it will be used to repay anyone who lost property as a result of the protests.
"This week is dedicated for prayers; we'll have interdenominational prayers in Nairobi, Kisumu and major towns," he said.
On Saturday, all denominations that observe the day as their worship day too will be engaged."
However, he stated that the paused protests will resume on Wednesday of next week.
