Akothee has advised Sarah Kabu and Simon Kabu to resolve their issues privately instead of airing them on social media.
"...I would like to take this opportunity to urge both couples to step away from social media and try to appear as the innocent ones. While we may seem like we care and push you to provide evidence of who did what, where with who, remember this: people don't want evidence to set you free. Instead all evidence you share with us "online in-laws" will be used to bring you down. If that's not enough, we will burn you, and if even burning you is not enough, we will drag your children into it and take sides in your business".
Akothee also seemingly blamed Simon Kabu for breaking up the long-term marriage that he had with Sarah Kabu, because the 'Djele Djele' hit maker saw this situation was similar to what she had gone through before in her own failed marriage.

Controversial Kenyan singer-cum-businesswoman Esther Akoth alias Akothee has weighed in on the ongoing drama between jer fellow business moguls Simon Kabu and his wife Sarah Kabu.
The couple has been trending for about two days now and everything that has been going on just points to the fact that they are not at a good place right now with regards to their relationship.
Their drama began when a CCTV video was leaked by some unknown person and it showed how Sarah Kabu had assaulted a woman at the matrimonial home that she shared with Simon Kabu, who was later revealed to be his house manager.
Things however escalated when Sarah Kabu, who is the Bonfire Adventures Managing Director and Simon Kabu, who is the CEO of the same company, recorded videos to try and explain the situation and each of them blamed the other for the issues they are facing.
Sarah Kabu refuted claims that the woman she allegedly assaulted was their house manager, leaving it to Simon Kabu to clarify the woman’s identity. Simon, however, insisted that the individual was merely a house manager and nothing more.
The situation took a dramatic turn when Sarah publicly disclosed that she had moved out of the matrimonial home she once shared with Simon and had been living elsewhere for some time.
