Popular gospel artist Karangu Muraya faced online trolling a few weeks ago after his first wife, Triza Karangu, accused him of neglecting her following his marriage to his second wife, Carol Kim.
The singer had always kept his family matters private, but the public allegations forced him into the spotlight. The controversy saw him appear on several online media platforms and interviews to defend himself against the claims made by his first wife.
On her part, Triza left her marital home, receiving support from members of the public who encouraged her to embrace independence and start a new life.
However, today Triza visited her marital home in Gatundu, where she took photos of her farm and shared the experience on TikTok. Her visit has sparked speculation among her fans, with many questioning whether she has officially returned to her marital home.
Popular Kikuyu gospel musician Karangu Muraya recently responded to circulating online reports suggesting that he has requested a divorce from his first wife, Triza Njeri, amid claims that their marriage is facing challenges.

These allegations were brought to light by a woman named Shiro, a close friend of Triza.
In a recent TikTok post, Shiro claimed that Triza had confided in her, stating that Karangu Muraya had expressed his intention to end their long-term marriage.
"The message I have received today from Triza, amesema Karangu is asking for that divorce, so probably, Triza won't go back to that mansion and before he didn't want the divorce.
Secondly brother ya Triza alikuwa huko, amefukuzwa leo, so I don't think Triza watakubaliwa kurudi huko. Amesema Karangu amesema anataka hio divorce" Shiro said.
Hours after the reports went viral, Karangu Muraya has now broken his silence and made it clear that he did not say such a thing about wanting a divorce.
"Where did I say so?" He asked.
The renowned gospel musician posed this question in the comment section of a Facebook user named Martoh Muriithi. Martoh had made a post highlighting how Karangu Muraya was in serious trouble.
In his post, Martoh argued that Karangu Muraya's situation amounted to bigamy, which is an offense under Kenyan law.
This is because the musician reportedly intends to marry Carol Kim as his second wife while still legally married to Triza Njeri.
Martoh further explained that the situation could work against Karangu Muraya, especially if Triza Njeri decided to take legal action against him.
