South african rugby team Springboks will face New Zealand's all blacks at the Rugby World Cup finals next Sunday after a narrow win against the England team.

The match between England was much anticipated as it was a time for England to retake their revenge against the Springbrooks after losing to them in the 2019 finals.

England led for three-quarters of the game, but they couldn't afford to pack down a scrum in the second half since it was an automatic penalty, with the Springboks owning them in that set piece. Nobody would have been astonished if their final points came from a scrum penalty.

Next Sunday's match will be a repeat of the 1995 match when the two teams met at the finals, with South Africa taking the cup home. This will be either team's fourth win.

A late Handre Pollard penalty secured a thrilling 16-15 victory over England at the Stade de France.

Pollard, who scored 22 points in the English's 32-12 triumph in the 2019 World Cup final, came on after only half an hour of play.
