The 53-year-old Dutch manager, who took over for the Red Devils after a dramatic turn of events, won his first prize on Sunday when he lifted the Carabao Cup.

Although player sales are available this summer, the club's board is also eager to reward Ten Hag for his achievements with new acquisitions. United is still in competition on three other fronts.

The Manchester Evening News reports that Ten Hag is striking reinforcements as a critical priority and has his eye on Napoli standout Osimhen, 24, and Ajax sensation Kudus, 22.

Marcus Rashford has been the primary goal scorer for United this season, tallying an astonishing 38 appearances total across all competitions, scoring 25 goals, 17 more than Bruno Fernandes, United's second-leading scorer.

Anthony Martial was to play a crucial part under Ten Hag going into the season, but injuries have limited the Frenchman to 14 games, in which he has scored six goals.

Osimhen, a striker from Nigeria who has scored an outstanding 21 goals in 24 Serie A and Champions League appearances for the Partenopei, would undoubtedly add goals to the Red Devils.

His fellow African Kudus, having yet another great season in the Dutch city, might join him.

The Ghanaian attacker, valued at about £90 million, has played 32 times for the giants of Amsterdam and has tallied 16 goals and three assists.

Together with the defensive pairing of Alex Telles and Harry Maguire, the club is attempting to sell Martial, a player who is 27 years old.

30-year-old Telles is presently on loan from La Liga. Team Sevilla seems unnecessary at Old Trafford because Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia can fill the left-back position.

Club captain Maguire, 29, has fallen behind Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez for the starting position and will be free to go for greener pastures if a suitor can come in.
