Below are the three lessons this weekend's Premier League taught us:

Liverpool Pushes For The Top Four

When Liverpool lost 3-0 to Wolves a month ago, Jurgen Klopp's team was down in 10th place and 11 points outside the top four, making a return to the Champions League the following season seem like a pipe dream.

With a game remaining, the margin to fourth-placed Tottenham is now just three points, thanks to Liverpool's historic 7-0 thrashing of Manchester United.

Liverpool's season-best performance by a wide margin signalled a return to recent form.

The Reds have kept five straight Premier League clean sheets and earned 13 of a potential 15 points.

Across the pitch, a long-term strategy is also coming together.

By scoring twice apiece, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo demonstrated they have what it takes to succeed Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in Liverpool's assault.

Nonetheless, Mohamed Salah continues to be Liverpool's top scorer. The Egyptian scored twice in the rout of United and has 129 goals to his credit as the club's top scorer throughout the Premier League era.

White Praises Arsenal's Zeal

Ben White took in the joyful celebrations after Arsenal's impressive 3-2 victory over Bournemouth and praised the teamwork that maintained them in the driving seat for the championship.

At a boisterous Emirates Stadium on Saturday, Mikel Arteta's team rallied from two goals behind to achieve what may be a season-defining comeback.

By that point, Arsenal's advantage was only two points after Manchester City defeated Newcastle only hours earlier when Philip Billing of Bournemouth scored the second-fastest goal in Premier League history after 9.11 seconds.

Marcos Senesi extended the lead in the second half, but Arsenal emphasized their cohesion and perseverance as they pursued their first championship since 2004.

Ben White scored Arsenal's inaugural goal to tie the game before Reiss Nelson scored late into stoppage time to restore their five-point lead. Thomas Partey started the comeback by tapping in the first goal.

In their previous six outings, Arsenal had won a game in the final minute or later three times.

White stated, "I think it's all because of the boys and how we work each day; it's a result we deserve".

"We managed to do it by constructing and winning games each week. The goals will come if we keep playing how we are".

Potter Is Encouraged By Fofana.

Graham Potter praised Wesley Fofana's game-changing comeback to the Chelsea squad after his second-half header gave the side a much-needed 1-0 victory over Leeds at Stamford Bridge.

Fofana, a French defender, was making his first appearance since suffering a knee injury against AC Milan in October.

Fofana's return is timely for Potter, who needs a long winning streak to silence rumours that he will be fired. Thiago Silva has been out for around six weeks.

The Blues trailed 1-0 after the first game, but their third victory in 16 games gave them hope to go into Tuesday's second leg of the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund.

Wesley has been missed. Because of his unique contribution and ability to recover quickly, you can defend higher up the field thanks to him, according to Potter.

He has good ball-attacking skills. A young player who is settling in at Chelsea. He possesses that personality.
