Kisii Senator Richard Onyonka has voiced his displeasure with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's public rants against former public servants. Asking him to follow due process.
Senator Onyonka stated on a local television show that deputy rigathi Gachagua should have already provided investigators with information concerning the accusations he has been floating in recent public appearances.
He asked the deputy head of state to release the identities of those accused of stealing billions from public office during President Uhuru's last three months.
"He is a senior state officer, in fact he should have already given that information to the DCI and everybody else. This is what you call the weaponization of your institutions of governance so that then you can emasculate their performance for political reasons," deputy gachagua said.

"Can't we allow the law to take its course, every single day the DP is constantly accusing people. Let them use the normal due process and take them to court," he added
kisii senator Onyonka went on to caution DP Gachagua to stop taking kenyans through this circus that he is taking them around and instead be careful with his words given that "he is a clever man".
Onyonka went on to say that gachagua should know the implications of the things he is saying, adding that he is trying to people in public who are not able to come to defend themselves and exonerate themselves from this mess when he has already accused them of being a thief in public
"Who made the Deputy President an Ombudsman? Why is he expected to make announcements on TV and Radio? What is he? He is just the Deputy President he is not DCI or EACC."
