Chelsea's search for a new manager has proceeded with conversations with Julian Nagelsmann.

After less than two years in command, the German was fired by Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich in March.

Chelsea still needs to choose a replacement for Graham Potter, who was fired in April.

Despite holding conversations with Nagelsmann, 35, the search for a new manager continues, with Chelsea also apparently interested in Luis Enrique.

Potter arrived at Stamford Bridge less than seven months after leaving Brighton & Hove Albion to take over for Thomas Tuchel.

Nagelsmann, one of the game's most highly regarded young coaches, has also been connected with Tottenham Hotspur. Meanwhile, Frank Lampard keeps the ship afloat at Stamford Bridge.

While at RB Leipzig, he collaborated with Chelsea eyeing director Laurence Stewart and technical director Christopher Vivell.

Nagelsmann is termed as one of the game's most promising managers, having taken over at Hoffenheim at the age of 28 before going on to RB Leipzig, where he took them to the Champions League semi-finals.
