Ulinzi Starlets tactician Joseph Wambua has warned his players not to get carried away with their stunning FKF Cup victory on Saturday, as a sterner league test awaits this weekend.
Ulinzi Starlets defeated Soccer Sisters 18-0 to advance to the FKF Cup quarterfinals, where they will meet Kisped Queens of Division One Zone B next month.
The next game is at home against Thika Queens, and while Wambua is enthusiastic, he admits they cannot expect to stroll to victory as they did in the cup game.
"We had a very good win against tournament Sisters, but that should not be the case now because our attention has shifted to our weekend match against Thika." We defeated the former champions (Thika) 3-0 in the first leg, and I don't see why we shouldn't accomplish it again this time.

"We must stay focused and maintain our winning attitude." As a coach, the one big issue I'm focusing on right now is mental toughness. "My players lack mental strength, and I'm confident that by Saturday, we'll have sorted that out and be expecting maximum points," Wambua added.
Wambua stated that the league is now more competitive than ever before, with previously perceived inferior teams standing up as contenders.
"The league is now more competitive than ever; every team wants to win."
Four-time champions Vihiga Queens will meet Bunyore Starlets at the Mumias Sports Complex on Sunday, while Kayoale Starlets will face Nakuru City Queens at Camp Toyoyo.
Wadadia will host Kisumu All Starlets at Mumias Sports Complex, while Trans Nzoia Falcons will meet Gaspo at Ndura Sports Complex.
The single match set for Saturday is Zetech Sparks versus Kangemi Ladies, which will occur at Gems Cambridge International School in Kajiado.
