The J-League has confirmed that Manchester City will participate in friendly matches against Bayern Munich and Japanese champions Yokohama F Marinos in Tokyo in July.

Pep Guardiola's City, who are on the verge of securing their Premier League title, will first face Marinos on July 23. Three days later, they will take on Bayern, with both matches scheduled to be held at Tokyo's National Stadium.

In addition to these fixtures, Bayern had previously announced their plan to play against J-League team Kawasaki Frontale at the same stadium on July 29.

Following their recent triumph as the new champions of Spain, Barcelona has scheduled a match against Vissel Kobe, led by Andres Iniesta, in Tokyo on June 6. This encounter will take place shortly after Barcelona concludes their domestic league season.

In another international exhibition, Scottish champions Celtic will be visiting Japan during the summer. They are set to face coach Ange Postecoglou's former team, Marinos, in Yokohama on July 19.
