To choose a squad for the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Boxing Federation of Kenya has stated that it will host three-day trials.

Between June 29 and July 1 in Nairobi's Charter Hall, the BFK will hold a trial for its top team (men and women).

Boxers on the Olympic weight limit from league teams above the intermediate level are eligible to compete.

The first day's player medical checkup and weigh-in will occur from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, and the technical meeting and draws will follow from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. At 1400 hours, the preliminary rounds will begin.

The boxers who will have the chance to compete at the world level will be chosen through these trials based on talent and technique.

Men boxers will participate in seven weight categories during the trials to show off their prowess and capacity to serve the nation. In comparison, women will compete in six different weight categories.

Technique, strategy, and overall performance are characteristics used to evaluate the matches.

Following that, the winners in each weight group are chosen to represent Kenya at the Olympic Games.

A crucial chance for boxers to show off their skills and pursue their goals of competing at the Olympic level is to participate in the Kenya National Boxing Trials.

It's a fiercely competitive event that calls for commitment, preparation, and outstanding boxing abilities.

Kenya sent only four boxers to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. It will be hoping for a larger team in France after Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba promised earlier in February 2023 that preparations are underway to send the boxing team to Cuba for training before the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
