Zimele Asset Management on Wednesday unveiled a digital administrative and investment solution for chamas dubbed ‘Zimele Chama Manager’ to allow members to control finances and lucrative investment returns.
Users will also get SMS alerts whenever they send contributions to their accounts.
Zimele says the platform is anchored on its savings plan in the Zimele Unit Trust, licensed by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA).
Speaking during the launch, Zimele Chairman David Ndii said that through the platform, members can access the Chama account statements and individual statements.
Its launch coincides with the company’s 25th anniversary celebration.
