Kenya's global standing has been elevated with the prestigious Best Quality Leadership Award 2024 from the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR), a recognition bestowed upon the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA).

This significant milestone was a testament to the visionary leadership of Dr. Andrew Mulwa, the CEO of KEMSA. He was recently honored with the African Governance Award, 2024, for his instrumental role in establishing KEMSA as the continent's Most Outstanding Medical Supplies Authority.

The award ceremony was held in Mauritius.

This week, ESQR has recognized KEMSA's leadership, including the CEO and Board of Directors, for their innovative and proactive approaches to fostering the development of quality systems within KEMSA. This has led to KEMSA's transformation into a dynamic supplier of supply chain solutions for health products and technologies, significantly enhancing health outcomes and saving lives.

These programs were acknowledged for enhancing health and saving lives.

After assessing many businesses, institutions, government agencies, and organizations from various economic sectors in Europe, Asia, America, Africa, and Australia, the ESQR annual recognition program granted KEMSA.

Enhancement Systems, Methods, and Research Projects that Support a High-Quality Organizational Culture are reviewed by ESQR.

It promotes innovation and forward-thinking ideas, recognizes excellence, shares knowledge with stakeholders, assesses conformance, and eases networking between industries and geographical areas.

This year's winners were selected based on market insights, consumer surveys, research, and poll results.

In Brussels, Dr. Mulwa will accept the award in June on behalf of KEMSA.
