HFC has partnered with Kigutha Farmers Limited to set up a Kes1.4 billion residential project in Kamiti Corner, Kiambu County.
The Housing project, on 58 acres of land, will be branded Barista Gardens and comprise fully serviced plots in four courts of a quarter acre and one court of an eighth acre.
HF Group CEO Robert Kibaara noted that Barista Gardens will release 180 new homes, in a scenic gated community with a country lifestyle, for occupation or investment.
“Whether you are resident in Kenya or abroad, you can save for, buy or invest with HFC and enjoy living in a controlled environment with ease of access to social and commercial amenities,” Kibaara said.
Kibaara said the partnership aligns with its strategic shift from the capital-intensive property development business into strategic partnerships to develop affordable housing concepts.
“This partnership reinforces HF Group’s commitment to enriching lives by providing Kenyans with relevant home ownership opportunities and financing options,” said Kigutha Farmers Limited Chairman Nyokabi Kamau.
The project will help close the housing market gap, which now numbers over 2 million unfilled units in the housing stock.
Every Kenyan should be able to live in dignity and accessibility, and it is our responsibility to make dreams of home ownership a reality.
