Skyward Express on Friday officially began its daily flights between Nairobi and Kitale to meet the growing demand for air travel.

The Airline deployed its Dash8-Q100 aircraft from Wilson Airport to the Kitale Airstrip in Trans Nzoia County, with passengers paying as little as Kes 6,900 one way.

Skyward’s expansion comes when the local and international aviation industries recover from an induced impact caused by flight cancellations and the closure of borders to prevent the spread of the virus.

Further, Skyward introduced flights between Nairobi and Kakamega, reducing travel time between the two cities in December 2022.

The opening of the new corridor offers the airline a huge market base in Counties such as Kakamega, Vihiga, and Busia, among others.

It operates flights to Mombasa, Diani, Lamu, Malindi, Lodwar, Eldoret, and Kakamega.
