Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade, and Industry Moses Kuria has stated that Kenya will continue to raise fuel prices by Kes 10 each month till February of next year.

The CS stated on X, formerly Twitter, that petrol prices will be at least Kes 250 per liter.

The announcement came just hours after the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) raised the price of Super Petrol by Kes 16.96, Diesel by Kes 21.32, and Kerosene by Kes 33.13 per litre.

According to EPRA Director General Daniel Kiptoo Bargoria, the increased rates are attributable to the weighted average cost of imported refined petroleum products.
