Police officers in Changamwe, Mombasa County, are investigating an incident where a woman was fatally stabbed trying to stop her parents from fighting.
Police reports indicate that the man was fighting with his wife when their daughter interfered to separate them, and she was stabbed multiple times in the stomach and chest.
The event occurred in the Mcheleni neighborhood at 5:00 p.m.

Neighbors who came at the incident transported the woman to Portreitz Hospital. She was moved to Coast General Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Police officers are still looking for the suspect who has been identified as Simon Mumbi.
