Heavily armed bandits seriously injured three people believed to be Pokots from Baringo East who were attempting to steal the goats in the Lolmolok area in Samburu County.
The injured persons were taken to Maralal Hospital for further treatment, and according to hospital management, the victims are in good condition.
This happened after Samburu Governor Lati Lelelit visited Kirisia Secondary School and donated 170 mattresses and 170-bed sheets after a dormitory was burned by fire one week ago by an electrical fault.
Lelelit has condemned the incident and urged the government to flush out these bandits along the border of Samburu and Baringo counties.
